| EMN Glossary on Migration and Asylum (full text) | |
Il Punto Nazionale di Contatto per l’Italia della Rete Europea Migrazioni (EMN) è lieto di aver curato l’edizione italiana del Glossario multilingue dei termini in materia di migrazione e asilo, già pubblicato in lingua inglese a Bruxelles lo scorso anno. Tale sussidio è stato elaborato dalla Rete Europea Migrazioni (EMN) nel contesto del Gruppo di lavoro per il Glossario e il Thesaurus che, per diversi anni, ha operato presso la Commissione Europea coinvolgendo tutti gli Stati membri.
Il Glossario è destinato alla diffusione promozionale tra quanti sono impegnati nel settore. La presentazione sistematica dell’uso e dell’interpretazione comune dei termini proposti rappresenta uno strumento mediante il quale i policy-makers e i professionisti del settore operanti negli Stati Membri, così come nelle istituzioni comunitarie, potranno più adeguatamente confrontare i rispettivi contesti e le esperienze nazionali, a favore di un’armonizzazione delle politiche in materia di migrazione e asilo.
The Italian National Contact Point of the European Migration Network (EMN) is pleased to have finalised the Italian edition of the multilingual Glossary on Migration and Asylum, published in English language last year in Brussels. This tool has been elaborated by the European Migration Network (EMN) within the context of the Glossary and Thesaurus Working Group that, since several years, has been operating at the European Commission with the involvement of all Member States.
The Glossary is intended to serve as a useful reference for practitioners in the field of migration and asylum. The systematic presentation of the use and common interpretation of the proposed terms is an instrument that will allow policy makers and professionals operating in this field at national and EU level to adequately compare national contexts and experiences, in order to facilitate the harmonization of migration and asylum policies.
