First meeting 2010 of the National Network EMN Italy
and Regional Editors
of the Dossier Caritas/Migrantes, Rome
Meeting reserved for the working group

    This meeting was scheduled within the European network EMN. The morning session was devoted to:
  • the interconnections between the EMN work programme and recent immigration researches and
  • the development of Statistical Report, with the provision of data and further development of editorial guidelines.

    The recent researches presented during the morning session were:
  • CNEL Integration Index;
  • Immigration Territorial Councils’ Handbook;
  • Caritas/Migrantes Immigration Report;
  • African Migrations (Integration Fund Research).

    The afternoon session was dedicated to:
  • Antonella Baldassarini (Istat, National Accounting) report and
  • Anna Triandafyllidou (European University Institute) report

During the following debate more information were provided on
Metoikos Project on Circular Migration
This session was opened and closed by the representatives of
the Ministry of the Interior
